Hannah and Jon
We are lucky enough to have travelled extensively and see some amazing places which gives us that firsthand experience of destination.
We have five children between us spanning a 7 year age gap so we have had to cater for all needs and wants. We also have 2 Type 1 diabetic children so have experience of travelling with their needs.
We like all types of holidays from the family package holiday in Europe, City breaks near & far, Road Trips across USA, Skiing, Cruising in the Caribbean, Mediterranean or Japan, Safari or an all-out luxury beach getaway. We love holidays and love planning other peoples to ensure they get the most out of their precious time.
We have so many memories from the perfect holidays, but we also have some from the not so perfect.
The Charitable side
We like to do a lot for charities. We both come from backgrounds where we were loved but didn’t have a lot. We were not poor, but we were far from privileged. We have both worked hard and have been touch with tragedy along the way. We are now fortunate enough to have lifestyle where we can balance work and travel and help those less fortunate. We have both run a few marathons and we hold golf days and other events to help others and so far, we have raised over £80,000 for great causes.
We therefore decided to raise funds via a different channel and that is where HJ Travel comes in.
Charity comes in many forms from research to illness or young person’s help to elderly care. We are touched by all of these causes, and we therefore set up HJ Travel so that when you complete your holiday, 25% of our commission (from the tour operator) is being donated to one of our chosen charities, or a charity of your choice.
What can be better than you going on holiday knowing you have donated to a good cause instead of those funds adding to the profits of the operators. It costs you, absolutely nothing and you get exactly the same holiday, with the same operator and possibly cheaper, plus you are helping others while you have a great time.
It really is simple. Either contact HJ Travel with a holiday you have found, and they will book it for you at no extra cost or speak to them about your requirements and they will do the rest.
HJ Travel will scour the market to present you with the best possible choices and for the best possible price.
